We are writing to update you on what the team at Bugden Allen Lawyers are doing to manage the challenges relating to the Coronavirus pandemic and how we'd like to minimise the impact on our clients, staff and industry colleagues.

Business as usual, online where possible

For now, it is “business as usual” as our team continues to provide legal services to our clients. Like most businesses, our priority is the health and safety of our staff, clients and the broader community so we have advised our staff to hold online meetings whenever practical. Air travel is suspended, and we have encouraged our staff to work from home if they prefer or to support their families.

As a technology-focused law firm, all our software and telecommunication systems are cloud-based so our team is able to continue to work flexibly and, if necessary, remotely. We want to reassure you if any of our team does need to work remotely, we are always committed to maintaining our high-quality service levels (including confidentiality).

Free online resource centre

We are all facing a time of great uncertainty. As an industry that builds or cares for the homes of millions of Australians, there is undoubtedly going to be lot of questions about the ongoing functioning of our strata developments and communities.

We’d like to help where we can.

Our team has set-up a dedicated page on our web site with articles and a Q&A Knowledge Base. This is a free service that our clients and the general public can use if you have any legal questions relating to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on your development project, strata management business or strata community.

We will answer questions as quickly as possible and once our team responds, they will be made available in our Knowledge Base for everyone to reference. Gary, Michael and all the team have already answered a number of questions that we hope you will find useful.

Rest assured our team is here to support our clients during these challenging times.  

Containment measures

We have implemented all of the recommended containment measures and are meeting regularly as a team to respond to the impact of this virus and discuss any further measures necessary to protect our staff, clients and the broader community while we continue to deliver services to our clients.
