All The Music1/7: Rob Dehlinger’s Alpha Rhythm KingsEstablished in 2017, the Alpha Rhythm Kings have created quite a stir with music fans, crafting an exciting “King Size California sound”.
January SeriesBeginners: 6-count Lindy HopCome learn the Lindy Hop. You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form. ✨ This is the 1st month of our 2-month Swing into the Season Special
Fundamentals: Swingout Individual VariationsIn this class, we'll work on your swingouts, the defining move of Lindy Hop and learn a handful of variations. This class features classic stylings such as follower swivels, as well as variations your instructors are using in their dancing right now!
Intermediate: Turn Techniques - Traveling Down the LineThis class is going to focus on principles of movement that will smooth tout your dancing in and out of turns.
Audition: Fancy FootworkIn this class we'll focus entirely on footwork. We'll do some playing around as well as some learning patterns rote. Some solo dancing as well as partner dancing. Anything goes, as long as we're shufflin' our feet!
ShagmorgasbordJoin Haily and Amy for a smorgasbord of Collegiate Shag! They’ll be covering a variety of techniques, body mechanics, and movements.
Fast Room1/14WNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music. Give it a whirl.
Theme Party1/21: Pajammy Jam PartyAre you ready to get cozy while swinging the night away? Throw on your favorite family-friendly jammies and come join us at our annual Pajammy Jam.
VolunteerWe have volunteering opportunities to help get you into the dance and lessons for free.
