Children of Cambodia blessed by your gift

With only weeks to go to finalise the purchase of land in Phnom Penh, it is heartening to see that Australian and New Zealand Lutherans have given over $222,000 to the Cambodian land purchase appeal!

This will reduce the LLL loan significantly, especially when coupled with $169,000 raised through the Lutheran Church in Singapore and from around the world.

Through this wonderful generosity and at a time of great opportunity for ministry and mission in Cambodia, we see the love of Jesus come to life.

How amazing to see God's love in action through Lutherans sharing the good news of Jesus and his love for all people. The people of Cambodia, in particular the children, will be blessed by this gift for many years to come. On their behalf, we say a heartfelt THANK YOU.

LCA Eleven on a 'mission' in Cambodia

Eleven LCA representatives travelled to Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia to share their skills, knowledge, experience and love of Jesus. They attended the Mekong Mission Forum, met with indigenous Malaysians and worked with the ministry team of the Lutheran Church in Cambodia.

The LCA Eleven witnessed an historic event in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two Lutheran churches in Cambodia and are pictured here with Sally Lim from the Lutheran Church in Singapore/Lutheran World Mission (front left), Mick Hauser LCA Mission International volunteer (front centre) and Pastor Khit Vibol, Lutheran Church in Cambodia (front right).
