At the end of March the THALEA Pre-Commercial Procurement Call for Tender was published on the official procurement platform of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. We are pleased to announce that we received six tenders from a wide range of organisations from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Finland, Spain and Germany. The tenders were opened during an official submission session (a procedure witnessed according to German procurement legislation) on the 3rd of June at the procurement department of the University Hospital Aachen.
We invited the tenderers to present their tender during a face-to-face meeting at University Hospital Aachen on June 10th and 11th and we would like to thank them for taking the time to travel to Germany. We were very pleased with and impressed by their presentations: their proposals were exciting and highly innovative.
We therefore look back on the meeting on June 10th and 11th as a very successful and pleasurable start of the PCP-procedure and a sign of good things still to come for the THALEA project. We would like to thank everyone present for their participation during the presentations and their valuable feedback. It is greatly appreciated.
The five tenders that were selected after the presentations on June 10th and 11th have entered phase 1. We are looking forward to phase 1 results in the middle of august. Until then, we wish you all a very nice and sunny summer.
