Training the next generation...

Over the last three years, Grassroots Training has had the honour of running a half day leadership training for all the Lutheran primary schools based in South Australia.

This year we went to Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School, Para Vista, where Redeemer Lutheran Primary School was one of 11 schools who were part of the training day. ALC Evening Classes 2016

A wise old owl said not to miss the ALC Evening Classes for 2016.

This four-week series of evening classes will commence on the 6 September.

Classes on offer this year are:

• Theology in the public square: refugees, asylum seekers, and border control; presented by Dr Stephen Haar

• Living….by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God: living with a biblical worldview; presented by Dr Stephen Hultgren

•  Luther then and now: looking at a selection of ‘gems’ from  Luther’s writings and exploring their impact for today; presented by Dr Stephen Pietsch

Group Study Handbooks

A great buy at $5 per handbook

Grassroots Training have a variety of relevant and engaging group studies available for small groups. These group studies have been written from an Australian context, and have had input from topic specialists to give a solid foundation to the material presented.

Each group study is divided into 8 sessions, and the study format is based on an interactive and reflective model. The handbooks have an easy to follow format, with additional questions and reflection opportunities for group members to do in between sessions.

There are four topics available: Beliefs; Bible; Connection; and Gracious.
