March Series

Beginners: Mixed-Count Lindy Hop

Come learn Lindy Hop!
Build the dance from the basics while exploring its history as a Black American art form. Our progressive classes get you social dancing fast —no partner needed, just comfy shoes and enthusiasm.

Fundamentals: Partnered Charleston Variations

In this class, we'll learn all about partnered Charleston and you'll get to try exciting moves such as barn doors, airplanes, and hand-to-hand. If you're looking for a way to dance to faster music- this class will give you plenty of moves.

Intermediate: Dancing in Closed

Dancing in closed is pretty underrated — you’ve got circles, breaks, rhythm changes and so much more! We’ll touch on the finer points of connection that dancing in closed requires, and learn how to make our bodies move in new ways.

Adventure: Balboa Classics - Classy and Flashy

Step into the roots of Balboa with classic movements inspired by the original Balboa dancers of Southern California. In this class, we’ll explore the timeless steps, rhythms, and shapes that defined the dance.

Audition: The Lead Follow Part of the Dance

In this class, we will focus on skills for making your leading less tiring, clearer, and more gooder. But leads can only do this if their follows are balanced, listening, and on time, so we will work on that too.
