SH1 Papakura to Bombay

Story
Story

You are invited to hear more about next steps for SH1 Papakura to Bombay at a series of open days held over the coming weeks.

Improvements to SH1 from Papakura to Bombay is a priority project within the Supporting Growth Programme. The improvements will support the growth of communities by improving access along and across the motorway, enhancing local connectivity and resilience.

Staged delivery combined with early route protection, will achieve value for money by enabling responsiveness to changes in demand, technology, and the environment.

The NZ Transport Agency board has now approved the business case for SH1 Papakura to Bombay. In September and October, the project team will attend six open day events as part of the Supporting Growth Programme.

This is an opportunity to meet the team and find out more about this project and others planned for the south.
