Louise not only arranged for local cycle repair service Outspoken! to come in for a series of repair cafés, she has also put together a Cycle Hacks session to build skills in new cyclists. Louise says, "So many of our students cycle and I wanted to find a way to make their day-to-day journeys safer and their property more secure. The response both from the College and WCSA was enthusiastic and students, fellows and staff from several departments worked together, giving their time and their expertise to shape and launch the scheme." EVENTS![]() We are hosting an impressive programme of events at College this Michaelmas. A major lecture series on Prevention in Health Care features leading experts in the field. Past President of Wolfson College, ALUMNI & DEVELOPMENT![]() ![]() ![]() The sunshine came out for the Wolfson College Alumni Reunion at the end of September, with members of the Wolfson community travelling from as far as Canada’s west coast to join us. Wolfson alumnus and award-winning architect Tszwai So (2015) gave a heartfelt lecture on ‘Emotional Architecture’, moving some audience members to tears. Alumni enjoyed tours of the College and Gardens, and were also keen to see the recent redevelopments of both the Club Room and the Old Combination Room. Attendees ranged from those who were here during the earlier days of the College in the 1960s, up to the mid-2010s. It was a special opportunity to reconnect with Wolfson and old friends, and we are looking forward to next year’s event already – those of you who matriculated in a year ending in 5 or 0 (e.g. 1975 or 1980), put 26 September 2020 in your diaries!
