EWA formed the Horse Welfare Committee because the Board was hyper aware of the importance of working actively to ensure our equestrian sports retain their social license to operate.  The public’s opinion of our sport is incredibly relevant to the survival of what we all love to do.

Every horse owner, rider and competitor has an obligation to ensure they are providing best practice care and welfare for their horses, at home and in public.

Have a read of this article to gain a better understanding of what Social Licence to Operate means, and how it can affect you and your sport.
