Click here A Message from the Chair of the Resident Services Panel (RSP) The Resident Services Panel is a team of residents, which reflects the diversity and equality in gender, ethnic and cultural backgrounds of all Paradigm's customers. We collaboratively scrutinise performance, policies, processes, and delivery of services, and hold them to high standards. We challenge Paradigm to achieve higher targets and standards in areas like communication, consultation, repairs and service delivery to all tenants and residents, in order to attain value for money and to improve Paradigm’s standards as a housing provider. We have made good strides together and even through the COVID-19 pandemic we have worked remotely via Teams meetings to set new targets and aim to further improve customer service delivery and customer satisfaction for all resident groups. We have room for more members to join us, and we would love you to consider becoming a member of the RSP. You will be given the right training, equipment and incentives to help you become an effective member. It is challenging but rewarding! Gas repairs - summer priority timesFrom 17 May and as the weather improves, we will be moving towards our summer repair timescales for heating and hot water. Initially, we will be working to the following priority times:
After a month we plan to return to our normal summer timescales, which are 15 days for heating and hot water repairs. However this will be reviewed in line with the Government roadmap out of lockdown and current COVID guidance. You should continue to report repairs in the usual way via our contact centre (0300 303 1010). Our new Homeownership teamWe’re dedicated to providing customer focused services, but there is a gap between how satisfied homeowners are compared to customers who rent properties from us. To resolve this, we have established a new, specialist Homeownership team. The team will be our experts on homeownership matters and will work with other teams within the business who provide services to our homeowners. You can find out more on our website. We’re always looking to take your feedback onboard and offer opportunities to have your say on our services. Read more about our new build customer research below or find out more about Resident Involvement here. Improving the experience of new build customers We want to know more about these issues, so we are carrying out surveys with homeowners and tenants who have moved into a new build Paradigm home. The surveys will be conducted by phone or online, with customers who have been living in a new build home for between one month and two years. All the information collected will be kept confidential. Working together to improve your estates“I have lived in my property since new and we have always been troubled with the public blocking our private parking spaces and the entrance to our little courtyard. This was becoming dangerous and as residents we got together, signed a petition to ask Paradigm to help us and arrange some kind of security to stop this problem. We got a barrier approved and it was installed within weeks. I now feel safe in my home, I sleep so much better and the feelings of anxiety, which no one should suffer over a parking space have gone! We thank you for listening and creating a safer space for our community”. Read more here about how Laura and other residents of a cul-de-sac in Waltham Cross worked together with their Housing Officer to resolve parking problems in their road.
