Our preacher on Sabbath both services will be John Peckham, professor of Theology and Christian Philosophy at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary here. I have come to admire this bright, humble and gracious man, who as both consummate scholar and prolific writer has blessed my own life and ministry. His Reader’s Choice best-seller, The Love of God: A Canonical Model (IVP 2015), is not only comprehensive and convincing—it will stir your soul. And just this week I received his newest book, Theodicy of Love: Cosmic Conflict and the Problem of Evil (Baker Academic 2018). I thank God for writers like John in our faith community who influence evangelical thought. His parents, Ernie and Karen Peckham (pastor for years in Indiana), are friends of mine. John and Brenda, his nurse wife, and son Joel, their 7-year-old pride and joy, are members of our Pioneer Family. May God bless us all this Sabbath!

In August 2018, Adventist Giving Online (AGO) announced the launch of their own mobile apps for both iPhone and Android devices. You can download the Adventist Giving App on the App Store for your iPhone or Google Play for Android.

With the Adventist Giving App now available, Pioneer Memorial Church will discontinue the use of SecureGive as of December 31, 2108. Please move your recurring transactions to Adventist Giving Online as soon as possible by creating an account here or search "Berrien Springs - Pioneer" in the AGO app. Read more

Homemade Apple Pies

Members of the PMC Evergreen Pathfinder club are currently collecting pre-orders for homemade Apple Pies that we are selling as a fund-raiser. If you don't know anyone who's a Pathfinder you may order by emailing pathfinders@pmchurch.org or calling 269.471.3377 and leaving a message. All pies must be picked up and paid for on Sunday, November 11, from the church from noon-8:00 PM.
