Iyuno Respects People. This is our core value. It is core because it is an essential part of our culture in building a global business. We can’t work across over 30 countries as ONE Team without overtly and consistently displaying the utmost respect for others, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or creed. A 5-Step Action Plan has been created and initiated by HR and Internal Communication so that we can all participate in this critically historic and massive movement to help end injustice, racism and oppression towards minorities and our black communities. We have also updated our "Social Impact" page on our website, which features each step in our 5-Step Action Plan and what Iyuno will be doing to do our part. We will be updating every step on our social impact page on a weekly basis following each "Iyuno's Black Lives Matter Campaign" newsletter. With that said, this week we are sending out the fifth "Iyuno's Black Lives Matter Campaign" newsletter emphasising Step 5 - Reiterate At Iyuno, we are engaging in conversations with our media and entertainment clients to share Iyuno’s actions and introduce them to organisations that need more voices from our industry. We are also all about re-sharing what we have learned, investigated, and participated in. Step 5 - ReiterateThis step is all about echoing all the previous steps we did in this campaign. It's important not forget all the steps leading up to this. Just because a campaign comes to an end doesn't mean that the issue and cause that we are supporting is resolved, has slowed down or is gone. This last step is all about reiterating in order to keep the 5 steps going and sharing all the things we learned with other organisations, clients, audiences, social media, the public, etc. We have listed below - ideas on how you can reiterate the previous steps! Sharing on social media Reiterating what you have learned by sharing it on social media via links, images, stories etc goes a long way in continuing the fight in this BLM movement to end injustice, oppression and discrimination. Especially when it seems like the protests and shares on social media has slowed down, it's important to keep it going because we won't stop until there is 100% respect, equality, and human rights across all races, cultures, etc. Talking about it in daily conversations Not being afraid to talk about this movement and other issues in daily conversations is a huge compliment. Sharing in conversations what you have learned, how investigating has shifted, enlightened or added to your education and knowledge is only positive and it also makes others more comfortable to include it into their conversations. As long as the conversations remain level and respectful of course. IYUNO MEDIA GROUP | HR |
