Week 11 COVID Considerations

Dear Families,

It is likely that you are aware of today's imposed "phase one" COVID-19 restrictions on people in the Perth and Peel region. The restrictions came into effect from 12:00 noon today (Sunday) and will last for a minimum of three days.

During this final week of Term 2, please note the following:

COLLEGE GROUNDS

Parents, please restrict your time on-site to specific purposes.

If on-site, parents please:

  • wear a mask, unless you meet the criteria that prevents you from doing so;
  • practice 1.5 metres between adults physical distancing, where practicable;
  • sign-in upon entry to the College using the SafeWA app; and
  • follow good hand and respiratory hygiene practices.

At this stage, parents are welcome on site for specific purposes including:

  • Prayer group
  • Speech Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Music tuition
  • Mandarin tuition
  • Chess tuition
  • Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
  • Uniform Shop

STUDENT DROP AND COLLECTION

  • Kiss and Drive drop-off and collection is preferred for all students this week. Kiss and Drive will be extended each morning this week until 8.40am (only)
  • Kindergarten parents not using the Kiss and Drive service are encouraged to use the Kiss and Drive gate (Hordern Street) for physical drop-off and collection
  • Parents of other grades not using Kiss and Drive can enter through the main gate  (Colombo St).

PLEASE NOTE - NO STUDENTS ON SITE BEFORE 8.15 AM

  • Parents are reminded that students can be dropped at school via Kiss and Drive from 8:05 am or Before School Care from 7am.
  • Students must not be dropped at school at the Colombo St entrance before 8:15am. This is because there is no supervision available before 8:15 am.
  • Parents/grandparents are asked not to come earlier than 8:15 am.
  • The only exemption for students on-site before 8:15 am is Before School Care.

RUN CLUB

Run Club is cancelled tomorrow, Monday 28th June - PERTH AREA Partly cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning. The chance of a thunderstorm. (BOM)

NETBALL MATCHES - TO BE CONFIRMED

Regent Stars (Year 4) has a scheduled BYE (no game) tomorrow (Monday)

Remaining teams - Leisurelife has elected to postpone making a decision on games this week until tomorrow (Monday) at midday. The College will communicate the outcome with families at that point.
