Enrichment Newsletter and Fitness February!

You're sure to enjoy this month's Enrichment Newsletter as our enrichment teachers describe what's been happening in the lives of your students in recent weeks. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into how BES students are learning with ambition, loving with purpose, and leading with courage.

Also check out the Fitness February Challenge shown on pages 3 and 4 of the Enrichment Newsletter. Your students have been challenged by Mrs. Novak, Physical Education teacher, to complete fitness related exercises each day so that they will have a chance to receive a prize each week in February. Even BES faculty and staff can get in on the act through a separate challenge! Email Mrs. Novak for additional details, and encourage your students to stay active and eat healthy!

Athletics Update

The Rays girls volleyball team played a wonderful game against San Jose Episcopal School and came home with a ‘W’. Our players demonstrated teamwork and enjoyed themselves as they put into practice the skills they are learning. Erin and Sophia won the final points with their consistent serving. Great work, Rays!

The Rays flag football team once again played in an incredibly exciting game against St. Mark's Episcopal Day School! Our players are learning how to play together and stay tough mentally throughout the game. It has been rewarding to watch them grow in their skill and understanding of the sport!

Be sure to support our players by attending their upcoming games. Full schedules can be found on the Athletics page of our website.

Go Rays!
