Does that Star-Spangled Banner Yet Wave?

I find it particularly interesting and fascinating that the first stanza of the Star-spangled Banner (the verse that is sung as the national anthem of the United States of America) ends with a question, "...does that star-spangled banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?"

According to history.com, Francis Scott Key, a lawyer and poet, had good reason to pose the question. On September 3, 1814, he and John Stuart Skinner, were on a mission to secure the release of prisoners who had been captured during the war against the British. FLAG Camp is held in the Pathfinder Building on the campus of Andrews University now through August 4, 2016 (No Camp July 4).
