COVID-19 Messaging Survey Results and Report
Members of a local Immunizations Community Collaborative were recently provided survey results on what types of messaging are more effective in COVID-19 vaccine education. Their major finding was that messages focused on ‘protecting’ and ‘back to normal’ are most convincing to get the vaccine. Other highlights include: •Unaided, the COVID-19 vaccine has the highest top of mind awareness, with two in three Utahns mentioning it (64%).
•Aided awareness of COVID-19 vaccine is also the highest (96%), on par with flu (95%).
•Utahns are closely following the development of vaccination efforts in the news—over 50% keeping track of it at least daily.
•Nearly everyone knows someone who has been infected (83%).
•The vast majority of Utahns (83%) follow COVID-19-related guidelines and recommendations. View the entire presentation and findings here.
