Singing the gospelLutheran education has sung from the beginning. While we also have a rich visual and textual tradition, we’re probably best known for communal singing, not performance singing but regular, all-in, worshipful, messy, as-loud-as-possible, kind-of-in-tune singing. VSC updateValuing Safe Communities (VSC) is updated every three years and work on an update has just been completed. A new VSC, VSC5, will be available on iLearn for the online modules from the beginning of 2022. ConnectConnect continues to support new staff as they are welcomed into Lutheran education. The ePortfolios provide participants with the opportunity to critically reflect on their learning. EquipThe regional and national Equip leaders met in Adelaide recently to share and continue to improve and innovate on the course. It was the first face to face meeting in two years and provided the opportunity to discuss the purposes and outcomes of coming together. The focus for the time together was the sharing and moderation of ePortfolios. This provided the opportunity to consider what is effective and what can be changed as we seek to support Christian Studies teachers.
