Beginners: 6- and 8-count Lindy Hop

Come learn Lindy Hop! You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form. 

Core Concepts: Playing with Rhythm

In partner dancing, the music is the glue that keeps you and your partner in sync. This series will focus in on connecting to the beat so that you're stepping in time to the music no matter where you're going or what footwork you're doing.

Adventure: Jukin' Blues

This series will focus on the Jukin’ side of the Blues family, starting with Step-Touches, and moving through other dance styles. We'll build a foundation to explore key elements of Black American Social Dances such as Groove, Asymmetry, Call and Response, and Polyrhythms.

Deep Dive:
Competition Moves

From showstopping phrase enders to moves that travel across the floor, this series will cover classic and popular patterns for competition. Whether you're interested in competing or not, you're sure to have fun with these iconic moves!

WNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music. Give it a whirl!
