No images? Click here Kia Ora , Honestly, I am not sure if the old saying ‘spend money to make money’ is always true, but the principle of doing something meaningful to reap the rewards certainly is. With only 30 days left to enter the 2degrees Wellington Regional Business Excellence Awards 2023, now is your time to do something to reap the rewards. And one of the great things, and there are a lot of great things about entering the awards, is that you do not need to spend any money to enter. And if you needed convincing, last year a business entered the awards that got so much out of it, I have to tell you their story. To be honest, they needed a bit of convincing to enter the awards. It was mostly an issue of being time-poor, I think. Ultimately, they completed their entry just before the close-off date (not recommended). I had the chance to talk to them about their process of entering the awards Finalist Function. They told me this: “Entering the awards was one of the best things we have ever done. It allowed me to think about our business and what we achieve daily. It allowed me to think about our team and how much they put into the business every day, and it allowed me to reflect on what an amazing job we do for our customers. Being able to put this down on paper, and smile about what our business has achieved, was something very special”. I know you will be busy, but entering the awards will make you smile too, about what you, your team, and your business deliver every day. Go on, Spend some time and reap some rewards. Who knows where it will lead. In this edition of the Hutt Valley Business Weekly:
