What's Going On at Weavers Way
TONIGHT! Summer's Last Chillin' & Truckin' in Mt. Airy
Aug. 27, 5-7 p.m.
Come Labor Day, you might still find a way to Chill or even Truck, but for the congenial neighborhood Chillin' & Truckin' scene at Greene and Carpenter, you better get down here tonight and hang out! There will be Mexican-inspired BBQ from the Mucho Bueno truck and ice cream from Zsa's. Enjoy the music, graze the store or pick up a peach from the Sorbello Girls
of Mullica Hill, NJ. Don't let summer slip away!
FRIDAY & SUNDAY!
So Delicious Frozen Treats Demo
Aug. 28 and 30, 3-7 p.m.
Weavers Way Chestnut Hill
A representative from dairy-free So Delicious will offer up samples of their frozen coconut-milk and cashew-milk desserts. Even if you’re good with the mammal versions, give them a taste — you’ll be surprised.
JUST SUNDAY!
Local Cheeses
Aug. 30, Noon-4 p.m.
Weavers Way Chestnut Hill
John Connor shares wares from Calkins Creamery in the Poconos, with pasteurized and raw-milk varieties for you to try. Alongside those, he’ll present Uniquely Greek feta spreads in baby spinach and spicy buffalo flavors. They’re made by a brother-sister team in Delaware County, and are ideal for snacking, spreading or cooking.
TUESDAY!
Weavers Way Board of Directors Monthly Meeting
Sept. 1, 7-9:30 p.m.
The September meeting of the Weavers Way Board is in the upstairs meeting room at the Chestnut Hill Community Center — 8419 Germantown Ave., across the street from the Chestnut Hill store. All are welcome. See the agenda here, and RSVP to boardadmin@weaversway.coop so we'll put out enough chairs!

For more info and to register, visit www.weaversway.coop/homesteading.
