Significant product clearance delays happening in China STAG International Seafood Trade Alert 2 August 2021 Significant product clearance delays happening in ChinaDear STAG members, This is to alert you to some airport closures in China due to backlog of product waiting to be cleared. The backlog is being caused by the increased surveillance testing happening because of COVID 19 and is related to the lack of chiller and freezer capacity to meet demand. We are monitoring the situation and exporters are advised to keep in close contact with their importers. These measures are not targeting Australia but are applying to all goods from all countries.
