We have lots of plans, lots of hard work ahead of us and lots of things we'd like to accomplish throughout the coming year. We also intend to get outdoors, to have some fun and to enjoy all the great outdoor opportunities Queensland has to offer. Every drive or walk in the woods will be a reminder. Spring will bring fear of the summer. The bushfire emergency, arising from the drought, has become a national crisis. You need to lead, and that means showing concern and acknowledging that climate change is a huge issue for Australia.
