Advent and Christmas 2020

After a difficult year, we're preparing to celebrate Advent to it's fullest.

We're delighted to be part of Church in Wales #DarknessIntoLight Advent campaign, which aims to draw people to the light we find in Christ’s message of salvation.

In this special edition of Llandaff Matters, we invite you to be part of our biggest Advent celebration yet.

Be inspired. Bear the torch. Be a light to others.

Domestic Abuse Awareness
campaign launches

Next Wednesday, we’ll be launching a brand new campaign to raise awareness about the huge issue of domestic abuse in our communities.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved

1, Display the #BehindClosedDoors poster we’ve designed.

2, Use the Facebook profile frame we’re launching next week.

3, Light up or decorate your church in orange in support of Soroptimist’s #OrangetheWorld to raise awareness of violence against women.

4, Use our #BehindClosedDoors liturgy specially prepared for our campaign.

5, Attend Mothers' Union Llandaff #BehindClosedDoors services.

6, Take part in Llandaff Cathedral and BAWSO's Light a Candle service.

If you’d like to write a blog post for us on the topic of domestic abuse, please reach out to taragulwell@cinw.org.uk
