Feature Story
The Whipping Boy tells the story of a spoiled young prince who, for the attention of his father, the king, did many mischievous things around the castle and town. He spoiled the portrait of the queen mother, disturbed a meeting with a visiting ambassador, and would command his carriage driver to ride through puddles in hopes that the citizens who bowed to show homage to him would be dirtied as the carriage sped through the streets. The king, exasperated with the crude behavior of his son, decided to punish the prince whenever he got into trouble. Feature Announcement
Giovan Bavan, a former foster kid, a youth advocate and teen mentor will be sharing at Harbor of Hope July 20, 6:00 to 8:15 PM. This is a foster and adoptive family event. The public is welcome. Volunteers are also needed for a couple hours of childcare during this event. This is a way to support fostering and to live out James 1:27.
