EA with the assistance of the National Jumping Committee conducted a forum and Train-the-Trainer accreditation day held in Sydney in December. All nine participants are now qualified and trained to use the new national show jumping syllabus when conducting refresher and promotional show jumping judges courses and EA Level One and Two clinics throughout Australia, to read more click HERE

Australian FEI5* judge Susie Hoevenaars will headline Queensland’s Dressage Education Forum on Saturday 7 February 2015.

The one day forum will cover topics such as the training scale, the importance of contact and a discussion on the key elements of EA tests in terms of why particular movements are asked for and what do they demonstrate to the judge.  FEI 5* judge Mary Seefried will also be hosting a panel discussion and a separate session dealing with rules, penalties and equipment issues. The course is open to everybody and the forum is allowed to be used as an upgrading points workshop judges & coaches. For more information click HERE

EA will be hosting an FEI Vaulting Stewards Course on the 23rd – 25th  April in Sydney (NSW). The course, conducted by Frank Spadinger (AUT) is for promotion to FEI Level 1 and a refresher for existing FEI Level 1 and 2 Vaulting Stewards. Observers eg. Coaches and Event Organisers for professional development are welcome to attend. For more information click HERE

EA will be conducting an FEI Eventing Officials Course and an FEI Stewards Course in conjunction with the Melbourne International Horse Trials from 5-8th  June 2015. Eric Winter (GBR) has been appointed as the overall Course Director. The Eventing Officials course will be open for Eventing Course Designers, Technical Delegates and Dressage Judges. The Eventing Stewards Course will be open to National Eventing Stewards seeking promotion to FEI level 1 Eventing Steward, level 1 steward seeking transfer to level 2, and for FEI level 2 Eventing Steward for continuing their education MORE

Equestrian Australia (EA) has received an invitation from the Equestrian Association of Malaysia, inviting Australian Officials to attend an FEI Advanced Course for Official Veterinarians (EOV) 3* & 4*on the 2nd & 3rd February 2015 held in Kuala Terengganu (MAS). EA Driving Officials have been invited to attend an FEI Driving Level 1 & 2 Course for FEI Course Designer Promotion and Maintenance in Vecsés (HUN) from the 20th - 22nd February 2015. To learn more click HERE

All EA coaches are reminded that they must ensure their First Aid Qualification is current at all times. All EA coaches need to have completed thier Apply First Aid Certificate with the CPR component.
