Beginners:
6-count Lindy HopCome learn Lindy Hop! You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form.
Fundamentals: Swingout Individual VariationsSwingouts – the defining move of Lindy Hop. This class will give you a handful of individual variations you can use anywhere in your dancing, and will feature classic stylings such as follower swivels, as well as some instructors' favorite variations.
Intermediate: Interesting Connections – Joined at the HipExplore fluid variations on classic moves through creative waist and hip connections. This class will focus on momentum, redirects, and how to ace lead-follow mechanics.
Audition: Flowmentum – The Baseline for PlayOften, clear communication in dancing comes from creating a consistent flow and momentum of movement - then changing it to communicate something different. Explore ways to build a baseline and how to interrupt it to express an idea.
Adventure: The Big AppleChoreographed by Frankie Manning and performed by Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in 1939's Keep Punchin', the Big Apple is one of the most famous, beloved line dances of Lindy Hop. You'll be able to do this solo routine around the world with other dancers!
1/15: DJ musicWNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music. Give it a whirl! FIND OUT MORE >
