WellFest Adelaide returns to the city in October 2022WellFest Adelaide, a celebration of wellbeing in the city, is making a return from 7 – 30 October 2022. This year, AEDA is giving businesses in the CBD and North Adelaide an opportunity to run an event or experience that aligns with wellbeing. If you are a retailer, hospitality venue, accommodation provider, fitness studio or gallery interested in getting involved, please join the 30 minute webinar on Wednesday 13 July at 8:30am. AEDA and Game Plus boost diversity in SA's gaming sectorAEDA and co-working space Game Plus are breaking barriers through a new support program designed to drive diversity in the gaming sector. The initiative supports people who are not typically represented in the gaming world — including women, people of Aboriginal heritage, rural residents, and individuals in disadvantaged and LGBTQIA+ communities — giving them an opportunity to engage in an exciting program and foster inclusion in the in-demand tech area. Event Infrastructure IncentiveEvents scheduled between 30 July 2022 and 30 June 2023 can apply for up to $10,000 in matched funding as part of the Event Infrastructure Incentive Scheme. Funds can be used to hire, purchase, store or maintain temporary or permanent event infrastructure. A delightful shopfront revampMelbourne Street's Heavenly Delights had a $10,000 makeover with the help of a Mainstreet Revitalisation and Improvement Grant. Turning to Business SA's Encore support a win for local traderAfter teaching himself the ropes of business development over the past 18 months, Cocina Comida owner Reuben Williamson has turned to Business SA for extra support. He is using advice provided to help establish cooking classes at his Ebenezer Place cafe.
