The novel follows five characters who all have links to the public service building which housed the prime minister’s department in 1977. Sara draws from her life experience when she worked in the building as the head of the inaugural Women’s Affairs Section of Prime Minister and Cabinet. West Block has recently been reissued in hard cover and is available now at the MoAD shop. ![]() This month at MoADMoAD usually has some interesting visitors around Budget time and this year we had a live television interview onsite, with Chris Uhlmann speaking with Treasurer Josh Frydenberg about the outlook for the year ahead.
