Invincible International December 2020 Update

Welcome to the December Invincible International Update.

As the northern hemisphere slips into winter, the southern hemisphere is gearing up for a hot summer. Already Sydney, Australia has recorded one of its hottest November days ever. All the more reason to be out on the water enjoying the world's number one leisure and sporting activity.

This month we welcome on board a new member of the Invincible international team. Olly Huntsman is taking on the role of Export Sales Specialist to ensure our ever-growing list of overseas clients and prospects are given the most prompt and efficient service. You can read more about Olly below.

November was a strong month for international sales. This, together with the buoyant US domestic market, creates its own challenges in terms of supplying the demand, whilst also maintaining the highest level of quality in the industry. Our factory team continues to do an amazing job of managing production levels and building the very best boats for our discerning customers.

It would seem there is light at the end of the virus tunnel, with the potential for mass vaccinations around the corner. Staying vigilant, healthy and spending quality time with family has never been more important. And with the onset of the holiday season this is brought even further into focus. We are most fortunate to be part of a lifestyle that values the benefits of spending quality time outdoors. It is certainly one of things that drives us to encourage the considerate use of our oceans and keeps our spirit of innovation fuelled.

I wish you all health and prosperity wherever in the world you may be. And I look forward to having the opportunity of actually meeting with more of you during what we all hope will be a truly Happy New Year.

VP International Business

Introducing Olly

This is what we’ve been telling the media about. Our newest team member here at international is Oliver Huntsman who we've appointed as Export Sales Specialist.

Increasing interest in the Invincible brand internationally and a considerable growth in customer enquiries from outside of the US has created an opening to expand the team. ‘It’s a role with a broad brief and we need someone who is adaptable, innovative and creative in these unusual times,’ explains Ian Birdsall, Invincible’s VP International Business. ‘In Olly, we’ve found a dynamic individual who embraces our values and shares our commitment to building long-lasting relationships that stand the test of time, a high priority as we continue to advance our worldwide presence.’

Olly has a wealth of direct sales, business development and training experience in the marine and other industries.

Olly adds, ‘It’s the perfect time to be joining the international team. Invincible is the pace-setter in the saltwater sport fishing and high-performance boat sector in the US and is now opening up markets worldwide. Being able to combine my personal passion for the ocean - I’m in the Atlantic most days where you can find me surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and, of course, fishing - while working with such a dynamic brand makes this an exciting opportunity.’

Olly is a qualified surf lifeguard with 25 years’ experience in watersports and safety, and he volunteers at his local lifesaving club. He is based in Bude, North Cornwall where he lives with his partner Gemma and their two young children.

Welcome to the team Olly!

Invincible in OZ

The first Invincible to be delivered to Australia is this 35’ Catamaran that arrived at Port Kemblar, NSW, earlier this week. The boat went straight into the water and made its way to Boat Monster’s new premises at Sydney’s northern beaches where they have easy access to Pittwater and Broken Bay.

Boat Monster’s Sam Wallrock says, ‘It was a very exciting day and all went to plan. The launch was smooth and the trip north was brilliant. The 35’ CAT handled marvelously, absolutely spectacular!’  He adds, ‘We’ve had terrific support from Invincible’s international team throughout the last few months and are very happy be able to get started and to show off this first boat. We expect it to be the first of many now that we can let customers get onboard and see the quality finish for themselves and to experience the fast, dry ride which is a hallmark of the Invincible catamarans.’

Our new 33’ Cat is featured in this Month’s All at Sea magazine
