Regards Andrea St John's School Euroa Newsletter Term 2 Week 4 St John's is a Child Safe School where all children are respected and are protected from harm. Principal's Message Dear Families, This week, we take the opportunity to pay tribute to all the mothers and special mother figures in the lives of all members of our school community. The mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, friends, teachers and neighbours. Those we live with, those we visit, those we remember, those who teach us, play with us, look after us and love us. We say thank you for “Living in Faith” in our lives. I hope that all women of the St John’s community have an enjoyable day on Sunday and I thank you for the important work you do for our children. A big thank you to all our parents who are working so diligently to make remote learning work from home. We realise it is a huge upheaval to everyone’s lives, and are all anxiously awaiting news from Dan Andrew’s address to the State on Monday when we may have more clarity about when school can resume. Please take time to read the quote below from comedian Johnny Corn. Kind regards, Libby Hamilton "This pandemic is world reset. We have a chance to change the world. What is has proven is no mater what your politics, no matter what your religion, no matter what your job status, we are all brothers and sisters in the world together. Human kindness has come out in so many ways. Cant buy a mask, people can make it for you; don't have food, let me drop some off at your porch. Love is all around you. All you have to do is look! I think the world needs a hippie right now and I am going to be a tad optimistic. Some advice form the original hippie: 'Love your neighbour as yourself'. Lets have that as the new rule in this world reset." St John's acknowledges the Taungurung People as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, play and live. Calendar of Events
