Important Information about SkiingUAFP will be renting a dedicated shuttle to provide transportation to Park City Mountain Resort and/or Deer Valley Resort from the conference hotel. Get Your Lift Tickets Early! We are STRONGLY encouraging attendees to consider buying season passes or day passes directly from the resorts as early as possible this year. Park City Mountain Resort (Epic) – We are still looking at working with Vail Resorts for group lift tickets, but we have been advised by their sales manager that the discounts they are offering now through their website will be much greater than any we could get as a group. The best prices are available through September 6, 2021 and they will start to gradually increase after that. Visit their site for more info: Dear Valley Resort (Ikon) – Deer Valley does not appear to be offering any kind of discount on day passes at this
time, but their prices will only go up as we get closer to ski season. Also, Deer Valley does limit the number of skiers on the mountain each day. So once they have reached capacity for a certain day, they stop selling tickets for that day. While you can purchase full price day passes, if you plan on skiing at least five times between the resorts that accept Ikon passes, you’ll want to consider purchasing a season pass. You can find all the information and purchase passes on their website. You can also call them a 435-646-6626 as they offer discounts for locals as well.

Study after study finds that children who focus on a single sport with demanding year-round training put themselves at greater risk of getting hurt. Read more...

Among adults with a diagnosis of mental health or substance use conditions, adults with disabilities more frequently (43% versus 35%) reported pandemic-related difficulty accessing related care and medications.
