Principal's Message Dear Families, Thank you to everyone for their support through this remarkable term. I hope that everyone enjoys the holidays and takes a break from all things school related. This week we welcome Aya Ferguson (Year 2) to the St John’s family. We hope Aya and her family enjoy being part of our school community. Media Permissions - We still require 19 families to complete the Media Permission slip. Please log on to the Parent Access Module to complete the form. Reports - Semester 1 reports will be released on Thursday at 3.00pm. Please send an email to Brenton (bnoye@sjeuroa.catholic.edu.au) if you need help with your log in credentials. A reminder that Parent/Teacher interviews have been rescheduled to the end of Term 3. If you would like to speak to your child’s teacher before this, please email them to organise a mutually suitable time. Thank you - Thank you to our families for your support in keeping unwell children at home. Thanks for your cooperation. Its much appereciated. Uniform - Parents and students are reminded that students must be wearing black shoes on the days they do not have PE. The shoes we expect students to wear must be polishable. Black runners with any white on them are not acceptable. Holidays are a good time to take your child to purchase new shoes. Thank you for your support with this. Please refer to the pictures below. Have a great week, Libby St John's acknowledges the Taungurung People as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, play and live. Calendar of Events
Religious Education God of mercy, transform me, Amen. Click on the Sandpiper Logo To view the latest publication Last Friday, Mr. Maher sent a heart to each student in our school. His daughters made them in support of the 1000 Hearts project during the COVID lock in period. 1000 Hearts is a kindness project which began in 2016. They make and share pocket hearts to bring comfort and hope to anyone who needs it. Please keep a heart for yourself before giving any away - being kind to yourself is just as important as being kind to others. Founder:: Sarah De Jonge. The heart comes with this poem - This pocket heart has been lovingly hand-made as part of 1000 Hearts, to share and celebrate kindness. Keep it close and give it a squeeze when you need a reminder of love, hope, courage and comfort. More information can be found here: https://www.1000hearts.com.au/about/about-1000-hearts Happy Birthday to the following Students: Owen Tilton, Bethan Burton, Kallin Caravaca-Lopez, Ruby Fowler, Audrey Leech, Aidan Hamill, Lara Saxon, Harlow Cummins & Cooper Goodall.
