RISS Launches COVID-19 This site is accessible via the RISSNET Landing Page and focuses on resources and information specifically selected to help our law enforcement officers during the COVID-19 crisis. RISS The six Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) Centers, the RISS Technology Support Center (RTSC), and the RISS staff stand ready to assist our nation's law enforcement and criminal justice communities during this unprecedented time in our history. The number of cases of COVID-19 continue to increase, causing many law enforcement and criminal justice agencies to change their roles, quickly adapt, reevaluate existing procedures, and institute new ones, and change response protocols. Law enforcement officers already are faced daily with dangerous situations that put their lives in jeopardy. COVID-19 adds another layer of concern. During this time, it is critical that our law enforcement officers stay safe and healthy. As you respond in the coming days and weeks to both traditional law enforcement efforts as well as issues related to the spread of COVID-19, the RISS staff is here to assist you. RISS is operational and continues to provide the services, tools, and resources, including officer safety resources, that you have come to rely on. RISS is also adapting to align with the current and evolving needs of our law enforcement community and partners. RISS encourages you to use its resources and contact your RISS Center to help provide information, equipment, analysis, and research. RISS is honored to support our law enforcement community and appreciates your selfless dedication and unwavering commitment.
