They have been able to keep an eye on one another and minister to one another. Currently, there are 6 households of concern, though this might increase as the rains continue. Concerns are growing as the flood waters continue to rise. In some places, the water level is far exceeding the 100-year-flood level. If you are able to volunteer, please begin to make plans for taking time off in the weeks and months ahead. The recovery and rehabilitation effort could easily stretch into years. We don’t anticipate having access to make an assessment until later this week or into next week, given that this disaster is still unfolding. Please stay tuned. And pray particularly for the members of Cornerstone OPC in Houston and Providence OPC in Kingwood, Texas!
