Another year done and dusted, and we'd like to congratulate all award recipients at the Equestrian WA 2019 Awards Night.
However, none of this would have been made possible without our generous sponsors. So, hats off to all of our sponsors and don't forget to support them!
We also cannot thank you enough for attending the Awards Night. So what did you think? Here's a quick survey so you can tell us what you loved, what you just sorta liked, and what we can do better next time.
We forward to seeing you all again in 2021!

PEEL REGIONAL ACADEMY OF SPORTS APPLICATIONS
The Peel Regional Academy of Sport is open for applications from athletes, for scholarships for the upcoming year. All PRAS Scholarships run for a period of 12 months from April, except temporary scholarships which all end at the end of the scholarship year. If you have any athletes which fit into the criteria listed below, please encourage them to apply.
Criteria:
• Compete at a state level or higher in the past 12 months
• Aged between 13 – 21
• Reside in the Peel area or attend school, play for a club, coached by a local coach within the Peel Region
This program targets specific high performing athletes and provides them with support, by creating accessible training environments within the Peel region. The athletes who receive a scholarship will receive support with services such as strength and conditioning, sports science and nutritional advice; as well as access to talent development workshops and coaching support. This program will allow athletes who reside within the Peel region to spend more time training at a closer proximity to their home base. The core aspect of the program is sport specific, strength and conditioning sessions conducted on a weekly basis by industry professionals from our Peel base.

ASADA has released a new online course for grassroots and pathway athletes – Clean Sport 101.
Clean Sport 101 is a simple 15 minute course which gives a snapshot of the rules, the potential dangers, with helpful hints and resources to help keep athletes clean and fair throughout their sporting journey.
It is designed for young, pathway athletes early in their careers who are very unlikely to be tested. Clean Sport 101 was developed in response to feedback from sports, parents and athletes who wanted a less technical option than the Level 1 course for younger athletes.
The course is written for Year 8 level comprehension, and is available on our eLearning website https://elearning.asada.gov.au/.
