2013 Paul Calabresi Award
Call for Nominations

Every year, the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) recognizes a prominent world expert in the Geriatric Oncology field by awarding them the Paul Calabresi Award.

This year, SIOG wishes to engage further with its members and place them at the heart of the life of our society, by calling upon their commitment and make them actively participate in the nomination process of the next Calabresi Award.

Therefore SIOG members are invited to nominate one of their peers as a possible recicipent for this year's Calabresi Award.

This award  is presented annually for a significant contribution to the advancement of geriatric oncology through

  • the publication of a high impact scientific paper,
  • a significant influence on geriatric oncology policies,
  • a major contribution in the advancement of international collaborations in the field,
  • or an outstanding  and unconditional support to SIOG. 

For you to proceed, please fill in the Online Nomination Form. Please note that in the form, you will need to substantiate your proposal.

Please note that all nominees must be a SIOG member.

All completed nominations must be received by 16 August 2013.

Completed nominations will be screened by the SIOG Nominations Committee, reviewed by the SIOG Executive Committee who will make a recommendation to the SIOG Board. The recipient will be contacted early October 2013.
Please note that the Award will be given during the SIOG 2013 General Assembly, on 25 October 2013 which will be held during the Annual Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.
