We are excited to announce that Kelvin Grove Club and Tennis South Africa (TSA) have entered into an agreement to host tennis events at the Club.

The three-year partnership involves four TSA tournaments and the first of those will be an ITF Junior Grade A event hosted by the Club from the 22nd to the 29th of October this year.

Whereas the agreement enables TSA to have venue certainty for the four tournaments, upgrading our courts to TSA requirements is coupled to their substantial contribution enabling much needed maintenance work to be carried out over the next few weeks.

The October tournament will in all probability be affected by current Covid regulations preventing spectator attendance however it is anticipated that the SABC will broadcast the finals live.

Our members are likely to experience some inconvenience and disruption during the tournament days and we apologize for that in advance, but we will do our utmost to minimize inconvenience, recognizing however that the potential opportunities available to the Club arising out of the partnership with TSA are considerable.
