In Adventism, we talk a lot about the importance of mothers in the lives of children, and their influence on the development of their children cannot be underestimated. It is of vital importance, and what I’m about to say is intended to take nothing away from that vital part of family life. However, I want to take a moment to focus on the value of fathers in the lives of their children. According to the sources cited below, children who grow up with involved fathers are 39% more likely to get good grades, 45% less likely to have to repeat a grade, and 60% less likely to be suspended or expelled from school.

Partners for Eternity

Seniors: Partners for Eternity (PFE) is a phenomenal program facilitated through Ruth Murdoch Elementary School in partnership with SFFC Foundation grant program. The PFE partnership teaches children about the blessings of missions and service to others as they engage experientially in building intergenerational relationships with seniors in their communities, easing the burden of isolation and loneliness sometimes experienced by seniors.

Make Friends, Share a Passion,
Grow in Your Faith!

Have you thought about joining a Grow Group? It's a great way to make share a passion, make new friends, and grow in your faith. This semester all the groups will be following themes related to the book of Revelation or the End Times. You can now sign up for Fall Grow Groups and some groups begin the week of September 6th. Students receive co-curricular credit.
