2019 Equestrian WA Annual Elections

Voting for the EWA annual elections will take place from October 14th with voting closing on November 7th.

Members will receive voting instructions via email and will be able to vote through the MyEA online member portal.

EWA Board

There are two (2) nominations for the two (2) positions on the EWA Board of Directors. Due to one of the positions being a casual vacancy, an election will be held to determine the candidate that will fill the position of Ordinary Director (2020 – 2022), and the Ordinary Director's casual vacancy (2018 – 2020). The election will be held in accordance with EWA Constitution part 14.10. The candidate that receives the highest number of votes will fill the Ordinary Director position (2020 – 2022) with the candidate receiving the next highest number of votes filling the casual vacancy position (2018 – 2020)

The candidates are Ron Fleming and Anne Wilkins.

To be eligible to vote for the EWA Board you are required to be a Competitor Senior, Participant Senior, Supporter, Official, Owner, Coach, or Adult Rider member of EWA.

Jumping WA Committee

There are six (6) nominations for the three (3) Elected Committee Member Jumping committee positions. Therefore an election will take place for the EWA Jumping Committee Elected Member positions.

The candidates are Amy Kippin, Lucy Galovicova, Shawn Squire, Karen McInnes, Jennifer Ahmat and Ben Wilson.

There were no nominations for the two (2) Affiliate Representative Member positions. Therefore, these positions are vacant.

To be eligible to vote for EWA Sport Committee, you are required to have nominated the Sport Committee or Sport Committees at the time of membership renewal to you wish to vote for.

Show Horse WA Committee

There are two (2) nominations for the one (1) Elected Committee Member EWA Show Horse committee positions. Therefore an election will take place for the EWA Show Horse Committee Elected Member position.

The candidates are Jane Fisher and Bernard Jenkinson.

There were no nominations for the two (2) Elected Affiliate Representative Member position (2020 – 2022) therefore these positions are vacant.

To be eligible to vote for EWA Sport Committee you are required to have nominated the Sport Committee or Sport Committees at the time of membership renewal to you wish to vote for.

Eventing WA Committee

There is one (1) nomination for the Casual vacancy (2018 – 2020) for Elected Committee Member EWA Eventing committee; therefore, no election will take place for the EWA Coaching Committee Elected Member position.

The successful candidate for the EWA Eventing committee is Philippa Collier.

There were no nominations for the one (1) Elected Affiliate Representative Member position (2020 – 2022) therefore this position is vacant.

Coaching WA Committee

There are three (3) nominations for the two (2) Elected Committee Member; therefore, an election will take place for the EWA Coaching Committee Elected Member positions.

The candidates are Gail Simms, Anna Latto and Diane Bennit

To be eligible to vote for the EWA Coaching Committee, you are required to be a Competitor Senior, Participant Senior, Supporter, Official, Owner, Coach, and Adult Rider member of EWA.

Dressage WA Committee

There are no nominations for the two (2) Elected Affiliate Representative Member positions (2020 – 2022) these two positions are vacant.
