Is there a problem with your China import permit or other access to China?
A notice has been sent by the Chair of the Seafood Export Consultative Committee (SECC) to the STAG recently in regards to the apparent cancellation by China of the China Import Permit of a Queensland-based exporter of live coral trout.

MAA 2021-07: Changes to certification due to the implementation of Australia’s new export legislation
Changes have been made to the export certificates issued by the Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment, due to the implementation of Australia’s new export legislation. This change affects all countries and commodities.

Inquiry into the prudential regulation of investment in Australia’s export industries
The Australian Parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on Trade and Investment Growth has commenced an inquiry into the prudential regulation of investment in Australia’s export industries.
The Committee is inviting submissions to its inquiry relating to the Terms of Reference which can be found on the Committee’s website.
The preferred method of receiving submissions is by electronic format lodged online and should be received by 31 March 2021.
Invitation to Join Australia - EU Free Trade Agreement Joint Stakeholder Briefing
The Chief Negotiators for the Australia–European Union Free Trade Agreement will be holding a stakeholder briefing at the conclusion of Round 10 of negotiations.
The briefing will commence at 6pm AEST on 31 March 2020 and will begin with an update from the Chief Negotiators, followed by a question and answer session.
