Martha's Message

Dear Parents,
Today, I am happy to announce the launch of our new website, www.beachesepiscopalschool.org!
The school partnered with C7 Creative, an outstanding web design company in Jacksonville Beach, to design a new look and improve navigation and functionality. A new BES Blog gives you the opportunity to read informative articles written by our faculty and staff about various educational subjects and trends. Ms. Melody Harding, PreK4 teacher, has written a wonderful article about "Giftedness; Finding the Joy and Uniqueness in Every Child."
The new site also contains the "Portrait of a BES Graduate," which is a list of characteristics we hope is embodied in every student who graduates from BES.
The site also boasts:
• An improved calendar of events
• Easier to read interface for mobile devices and tablets
• Intuitive forms for requesting information and making pledges to the school's annual giving campaign
• Easy to navigate buttons for topics of frequent use
As with any website project, we will continue to monitor the site for necessary improvements, but we hope these enhancements will make information more accessible and help you stay connected with your child's educational experience at Beaches Episcopal School!

The Rays flag football team had an exciting game this week! We played San Jose Episcopal Day School on the main field at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville! The game was a tremendous experience that our students will never forget!
Our volleyball team will scrimmage San Jose Episcopal next Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., so come cheer on your Rays!
In Physical Education (3rd to 6th grade), we have begun our February Fitness Challenge! Your child has received a February calendar with a set of exercises for each day to challenge the students and teachers. I look forward to having plenty of names in the box to draw a winner from on Monday morning.
Stay Active! Go Rays!
