Principal's Message

Dear Families,

Thank goodness we are coming back to school tomorrow, it will be great to have everyone here again. Thank you for your patience during this last week, fingers crossed that this is the last lockdown.

Return to school tomorrow - Tomorrow, all students will need to return their ipad, ipad charger, Stepping Stones maths books (Foundation – Year 4), and all other learning materials. It is important that these materials are returned so the students can continue their learning.

School restrictions - Now that we are open again, we need to be vigilant about following these safety precautions-

·         No parents will be allowed on site. If you need to speak with a staff member, please phone the school or send an email.

·         Parents/Carer’s must wear masks and practise social distancing when dropping off and collecting their child - please wait in or near your car for your child at the end of the school day.

·         Sick children must not attend school, if they have any COVID like symptoms, they will need a COVID test before returning to school.  A copy of the negative result will need to be emailed to myself, principal@sjeuroa.catholic.edu.au before your child can return to school.

·         At this stage, there will be no school assemblies for the next couple of weeks.

Lunch Orders - There will be no lunch orders tomorrow, unfortunately Fare Enough won’t be able to fill our orders due the lifting of the lockdown today. Lunch orders will be available next week.

Thanks again everyone for your continued support, all of the staff here at St John’s are grateful.

Kind regards,

Libby Hamilton

Week 3 Prayer

One Lord, One Faith, One Hope.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as there is one hope held out in God’s call to you;
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; There is one God, who is over all, and through all and in all.  If our life in Christ means anything to you, if love can persuade at all,  Or the Spirit that we have in common, or any tenderness and sympathy,  Then be united in your convictions and united in your love,  With a common purpose and a common mind.  Competition and personal vanity should have no place among you.  Rather, be humble toward each other, never thinking you are better than others.  Go into the world in peace,
be brave, keep hold of what is good, never pay back wrong for wrong.
Support the weak and the distressed,  give encouragement to each other,
and seek always to recognise what is best.  In your life together, and in your attitude toward one another, be the same as Christ Jesus, your servant Lord.

For this is what God in Christ wills for you.

God has called you,
and God will not fail you.

Amen
