Many of our businesses are in the process of reopening in the safest manner possible. The retail shopkeepers, restaurant owners, service providers and all others at the heart of our community thank you for your continued support. Click "Support Downtown Businesses" to go to a directory of downtown businesses that are open and ready to serve you. PARKING For parking downtown at City parking meters, lots and garages, payment is not required, on a temporary basis. Also. look for curbside pickup signage at a number of locations downtown where you may park for free for 15 minutes. DOWNTOWN GIFT BOX GIVEAWAY On Friday afternoons until June 19, we will be giving away at least 4 gift boxes in the Downtown St. Catharines Gift Box Giveaway, each filled with an assortment of great gifts from our downtown retailers. Enter on our Facebook and Instagram accounts - look for our official contest posts and follow the instructions there to enter! This afternoon's giveaway features gifts from pocket CHANGE, Craft Arts Market, Someday Books and Pretty & Co. You have until 2:00pm today to enter for a chance to win this week's gift box. On Monday, we will be posting details of the third Gift Box Giveaway featuring more downtown businesses!

CATHARINES FARMERS MARKET The St. Catharines Farmers Market is currently open on Saturdays from 8am to 12noon. Safety measures are in place to protect the health of vendors and patrons as the City continue efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. Please wear a mask when shopping at the Farmers Market. NEW! In addition to shopping in person, the market has introduced a new online shopping portal, a feature that will continue even after COVID-19 restrictions ease. Shoppers can head online and fill their virtual shopping cart with an array of meats, cheeses, produce, artisan items and more from all their favourite market vendors. Their completed orders can be picked up at the market during open hours. REPORTING CRIMINAL ACTIVITY All downtown business owners and citizens are reminded to report any criminal activity to the Niagara Regional Police at 905-688-4111 or Crime Stoppers of Niagara at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Non-emergency criminal activity can also be reported through the NRPS online reporting system. In case of emergency, where the safety of people or property is at risk (fire, crime in progress, or a medical crisis), call 911.
