Free 'Building strong, caring communities' Workshop

A workshop to help you better serve in your community
followed by the launch of our 2014-2019 Strategic Plan

Join us at this exciting afternoon that will include a panel discussion with representatives who have spearheaded community projects within their congregations and a session to discuss how you can help build your community.

We will also release the 2014 edition of the booklet 'When a Neighbour Comes Knocking: Helping People who Seek Emergency Assistance Through the Church'.

If you can't join us for the workshop you are still welcome to celebrate with us at the launch of our Strategic Plan from 4.30pm-5.30pm. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Time for Us - Relationship Retreat in the Beautiful Barossa Valley

This is a great opportunity for you and your partner, or other couples you may know, to take some time out to relax in the beautiful Barossa Valley while learning to grow and have fun.

Please note that this workshop is offered under the Stronger Relationships trial and that a $200 voucher is available for couples to offset some of the cost.  The  Australian Government is delivering the Stronger Relationships trial from 1 July 2014. During this time up to 100,000 couples in Australia are able to access a subsidy for relationship education and counseling. Register for your voucher here.

With your Stronger Relationships voucher we are able to offer the couples retreat for the low price of $159 per couple which includes:

• one night accommodation at the luxurious Lyndoch Hill
• Time for Us workshop
• morning tea and lunch
• dinner for two at the World Class Lyndoch Hill Restaurant.

Christmas Hampers - Volunteers Needed

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the packing and distribution of Christmas Hampers. Packing will take place in November at Blair Athol and in December in the Barossa Valley.
