The SESF are proud to announce the return of Sports Excellence Scholarships for 2021.

Now in our 10th year the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund provides future sporting stars with financial and mentoring support. Over this 10-year period the SESF has been pivotal in the journey of many young Australians, from a diversity of backgrounds and across all sporting endeavours. 

“We absolutely recognise it’s been a tough 12 months for every-one our young athletes. They have had to put their sporting activities on hold and miss their competitions, change their training routines and essentially put their lives on hold. What we didn’t want them to lose through all this upheaval was their sporting dreams. We welcome the return to sport and we thank our partners for their continued support through what has been a turbulent 12 months. To get us all back on track as quickly as possible the SESF is opening up our scholarships to all Victorian schools and their students.”

SESF scholarships are given to those young athletes experiencing financial circumstances that would otherwise preclude them from participating at a representative level.

The SESF has now extended its reach to students attending all schools across Victoria. 
We would encourage any Victorian school student, 10 years and over, with sporting potential consistent with competing at a state representative level, to apply now.
