Welcome to the Barnet Together newsletter featuring news, grants, training opportunities and much more...

But with this there may well be new and/or different challenges for your organisation. Do get in touch if you would like to bounce any ideas around or discuss any fundraising or operational needs.

Barnet Drag Bingo - Online Fundraiser

Our friends at Inkluder have a mission to make Barnet the most inclusive Borough in London; a mission which, needless to say, we support wholeheartedly.

They will create a much-needed community hub for queer people and their allies, and are planning the very first Barnet mini-pride event in 2022.

To raise funds to make these things happen, Inkluder and That’s Drag are bringing us Barnet Drag Bingo – a Zoom event for the whole family, with BSL interpreter and a ‘pay what you can’ ticketing policy with minimum donation of just £1.

Get something sparkly on and join them to party for a great cause.

Thursday 17 June, 7.30-9pm

JustGiving launches Giving Checkout

This new service is designed to make it easier for charities and donors to support each other outside of the JustGiving platform.

Charities can implement JustGiving‘s Giving Checkout on their websites, social media and other digital channels, plus promote it offline with a web address or QR code. This will provide you with access to all donor data. And the good news is that charities will not be charged payment processing fees!

Donors using this service will also be given the opportunity to cover the payment processing fee on behalf of the charity but JustGiving will also cover the payment processing fee for charities using Giving Checkout where donors opt-out of this so ensuring that charities using the product receive 100% of the donation 100% of the time.
