HOW CAN I VOTE BY MAIL?
Registered voters may request a mail-in paper ballot if they plan to be out of the county during the early voting period and on Election Day, if they are at least 65 years of age, or if they are sick or disabled. Call the Harris County Clerk’s office (information below) to request a ballot.
HOW CAN I VOTE EARLY?
All Harris County voters can vote at any Harris County early voting location from Tuesday, February 16, 2016 through Friday, February 26, 2016. Early voting locations in Senate District 6 are listed below. A full list can be found online at www.harrisvotes.com.

HOW CAN I VOTE ON ELECTION DAY?
Election Day is Tuesday, March 1, 2016. On this day you must vote at your neighborhood polling place, located in the precinct where you are registered. You can find your precinct number on your voter registration certificate, and a list of polling locations is published in the newspaper just before Election Day. The polls are open from 7:00 am until 7:00 p.m.
VOTER IDENTIFICATION:
Photo ID is currently required for voting in person. Acceptable forms of identification include:

United States military identification card

US citizenship certificate and US passport.

On Election Day, voters who are in line at 7:00 pm must be allowed to vote.

Voters may be assisted by any person of their choice as they cast their ballots.

Voters with special needs will be accommodated at all polling places.

Voters may encounter problems at the polls, but may always cast a provisional ballot.
