Two weeks ago, Mikala and I shared Applyful with a room of entrepreneurs, journalists, investors, students, faculty and staff at the inaugural College Knowledge Challenge  "Demo Day". After evaluating 19 company pitches, the audience voted Applyful number one! We were kinda caught off guard, so we didn't have the chance to record our happy dance. But you can check out our photos from the day here.

This week, Applyful is going into uncharted territory as faculty and staff around the country begin using Applyful to discover, collect and share college knowledge. Participating in GetSchooled's Fall College Challenge, students at over 225 high schools can earn points by researching colleges to apply to.

At the heart of Applyful's design is the ability for students, families and counselors to collect everything in one place. Not just a list of schools, but any important or interesting info during the process. So we launched Collections. Think of a Collection as a "pinboard" for everything college related. We've created a few to get you started. And soon, you'll be able to make your own!
