Thanksgiving! For everyone and everything we love and are thankful for. At WNH, we're especially thankful for our wonderful volunteers. Come play Thanksgiving-themed games, win silly prizes, and help us thank our voluntters from the bottom of our hearts!

Level 1 (8:15pm - 9:15pm)

This series will be taught as an ELEF class series.
ELEF = Everyone Leads Everyone Follows
Come out and kick your way through Charleston! Once a separate dance born of the Roaring 20s, these high-energy moves became an integral part of the Lindy Hop dance floor and are frequently danced together in a single song. This is the best way to get your heart-rate up and your feet moving to the fastest tunes available!
PRE-REQUISITES: None. No partner required; just bring your enthusiasm and comfortable clothes!
Level 2 (7:15pm - 8:15pm)

Lindy Drift
In this series, we delve deep into the swingout, one of the cornerstone moves of the Lindy Hop! We will use a better understanding of technique and connection to create a relaxed, smooth rotation through even the hardest swinging beats.
PRE-REQUISITES: Level 1A-D; twice through recommended. Execute a swingout, lindy circle, charleston and 6-count moves and transition between them in open and closed positions. No partner required, just bring your enthusiasm!
Level 3 (7:15pm - 8:15pm)

The Alpha / Omega
The Swingout. Come dissect our most complex "basic" move. Find out how posture, balance, connection, stretch, timing, rotation, and orientation all get communicated between the advanced lead and follow and how this can open up creativity for each pair.
PRE-REQUISITES: At least nine consecutive months of Level 1 and Level 2 including one full year of social dance, or discuss your eligibility with instructors. Under-qualified students will be asked to transfer to Level 2 in order to strengthen their fundamentals.
Elective (8:15pm - 9:15pm)

Balboa & Beyond
Want to make your balboa even more shuffley, flowy, and musical? We've spent all year building up our fundamentals, so now let's see what we can do with them! We'll be covering higher-level technique, moves, variations, as well as classic combinations. Get ready to be challenged and have fun!
PRE-REQUISITES: Completion of Balboa Level 1 & Balboa Level 2 at least once. Should know & feel comfortable with: uphold, down hold, come around, ad-libs, toss outs, lollies, swivels. No partner required; just bring your enthusiasm and comfortable clothes!

We are braising the turkey, WNH will be closed! However, for those of you whose feet get too itchy to dance on Wednesdays, we hope to see you at Cat's Corner in San Francisco. Cat's Corner is a great venue up in the city that we never get to visit due to scheduling conflict; but the Thanksgiving week is one time of year where we get to go and meet the city's Wednesday dancers! We hope you can join us; carpooling details coming up shortly, watch our Facebook event page.
WNH enrolled students will get $5 admission to the dance party or $5 off a drop-in Lindy class. Carpool drivers of 3 or more people can get free admission.
