Customer resources

Sonoma Clean Power's business office remains closed at this time due to public health concerns regarding COVID-19 ("Coronavirus"). We will keep customers informed if a reopening date is authorized in the future.

Power Content Label

If you haven't already received Sonoma Clean Power's Power Content Label in the mail or through email, you can expect to get one soon. The Power Content Label reflects 2020 verified electric resources for SCP and is required by the California Energy Commission to be mailed to any customer that received service from SCP in 2020 and active SCP customers.

California Climate Credit

This October, your electricity bill will include a credit called the "California Climate Credit". The credit is from a state program which requires power plants, natural gas providers, and other large industries who emit greenhouse gases to buy carbon pollution permits, and the credit on your bill is your share of the payments from the program.

Contact us

Have questions about your bill, rate plans, SCP's services, or offerings? You can still contact us by calling our local contact center at 1 (855) 202–2139 or by emailing info@sonomacleanpower.org.

Ways to save this fall

As the weather begins to cool and you start spending more time inside, it's helpful to pay attention to how these changes may impact your electricity bill. Below are some easy ways to stay ahead of the season transition and keep your energy usage in check.

Understanding your usage

Use the Home Energy Checkup tool when you're logged in to your PG&E online account to see a breakdown of your usage. You'll see your top energy costs divided into categories like electronics, lighting, water heating, and more. If you've recently made big changes to your household, such as the number of occupants or adding an electric vehicle, update your Home Profile to get a more accurate cost breakdown.

*Example is a household of two people with central heating and cooling. Usage varies per customer.

Finding the best rate plan

The Rate Comparison tool will help you make sure that your household is on the lowest cost rate plan based on your usage history and the time of day you use the most electricity. Learn more about the benefits of Time-of-Use (TOU) rates, which can help even the biggest energy conservers unlock bill savings.

Good energy-saving habits

Small actions, like unplugging devices that aren't being used or heating up food in the microwave instead of the oven, can lead to big savings on your electricity bill. Explore our list of tips that will help make saving energy part of your daily routine.

Cooking on induction with Chef Corsino

Our Advanced Energy Center kitchen had the pleasure of hosting Chef Derek Corsino, a culinary arts teacher at Healdsburg High School, a local pastry chef, and a recent finalist on the Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship! Chef Corsino has been cooking on induction for over 20 years and is a huge fan of the safety and precision it provides. While cooking a delicious penne with sausage ragu, he shared some best practices.
